Bowne park and kissena park

Today i went to both bowne park and kissena park fishing and I didn't get a bite at all in both lakes. Spent an hour at both and not a thing at all I am shutting freshwater Down until May unless it's one to two weeks of no rain and lows in the 50s at night. Hoping for one day to go blackfishing this month but I haven't seen any reports anywhere. Tight lines.

They are there. Fish different. Nice and slow. Sunny and shallow parts of lakes. They do not hibernate. They eat all year!!

Since you asked about black fishing

I use live worms I leave it on the bottom and fish there 5 minutes if I dont get a bite I move on
