Make that intact as in Pepe LePew!! I've been icefishing six or so times, but today was my first outing in Vacation Land. My host was excited as he guaranteed success even though I warned him of my curse. He's still in shock that with 9 traps out and a jigging set up we didn't get a single fish.

Is Bakers camp still around?Not sure about Baker's, but Worthington's, which is just upriver from Baker's, has been open for a few weeks. It's the first time in 3 years that many of them have had enough ice to open.
Smelt fishing?
Personally, not a fan of smelt so I've yet to give it a shot. Rumor has it that the smelt population has been a shadow of its former self and those 5 gallon buckets full of them, are, like smelt fishing in late November, relics of the past.
