So did anyone get anything good for next year?? Unfortunately Santa didn't get my letter about wanting a boat🤣. I did get a battery heated vest and rechargeable hand warmers. Plus money towards some charters.

Forget the boat. You have enough friends with boats to make it redundant. Besides, right now at the end of a trip while walking off the dock you get to say "Hey Cap, she's running a little rough - please fix that before next weekend rolls around." 😎
As for fishing gifts - my fam knows better than to buy me tackle, so wifey got me another Grunden's "Weather Watch" light-weight jacket in bright green to match the blue one that's gonna stay home for use around the yard. I like the bright color, because if I fall out of the boat my crew can better aim their thrown 10oz sinkers as I slowly drift away. 😳

This jacket is by far the most comfortable one I've every used during Summer thunderstorms and the like. I highly recommend it.
I did buy myself a Daiwa Procyon LT spinning reel and a few upgrade add-ons for it. And I MIGHT be looking for a new fluke jigging rod to pair it up. Maybe a Palmarius P66-3S, or maybe one of Kilsong's new JS Rods light jiggers. Or maybe a Jigging World Ghost Hunter 150g spinner. I really do like that last choice. We'll see what's what at the upcoming Spring shows.

My eyesight is not as good as it used to be!!!🤣
