Headed out with Frank P the morning in hopes of getting some fish in the box. No doubt it was chilly the morning. Got set up in about 30ft along the rocks in the inlet instant life. After about a hour the wind turned on and made fishing not fun. Made a move by the Robert Moses bridge on the north side and it was very nice getting out of the wind picked a few shorts but not the life we had in 30ft. After awhile the wind let up and back to the first drop again nonstop action, we fished the entire outgoing tide. We had all the 14/15.5” fish you wanted the keepers were not there today. Turned out to be a nice day warmed up enough to enjoy fishing. The rods never stopped bending all day. Not sure I’ll get out again heading back upstate Thursday night till Tuesday hunting.
