Temperature has been beautiful the last two days, wind has been ridiculous. Had a late start today but wanted to try, met Frank Sr and Frank Jr and we ventured out and to no surprise it was kicking took a beating crossing the sound but 30ft Grady was fine. Got to the spot that has been producing, only problem today the wind and the tide was no match for the spot lock just to much boat for the spot lock to hold in the conditions we were in. So we moved further to the Connecticut side and tossed the anchor we had fish nonstop only problem the keepers weren’t chewing all small fish and a few fat 15 to 15.5. As the tide slowed I finally hit a 17” fish and that was the end of the keepers not much we could do with the conditions out there. Will see what the weekend brings.

You did the best you could with the conditions at hand. I wish I had better news, but the next 2 days look even windier. Only possible break, Saturday forecast for the Sound is NW so CT side should be fishable once you get across.
Sunday morning looks like a brief calmer window before the fan turns on again, for another bumpy ride home. Welcome to November!!!😡
