Thinking of getting a MoJo head about 24 OZ. and trolling an umbrella rig behind it. Sure beats that horrible wire line or clumsy downriggers. Found a seller on Ebay who sells big heavy Mo Jo heads real cheap. He's got a deal like 8 Norway ( without hooks ) Cod Jigs 12 OZ for $23. Just spray paint them.

I find trolling in general to be "horrible and clumsy".

Rather than a Mojo head (unless it's super cheap), they sell elongated trolling weights that will probably give you less water resistance than a cannon ball shape.

I was looking at 28 OZ. drails but was worried they'd sink in the water while trolling and affect the lure action. I think MoJo's are connected from the top and it's up and down like a downrigger ball.

If you don't want to use wire, you should look into a planer. They work great, easy to use

I think I'll use a planer also.

I dropped my trolling rod in for a quick troll. Marked bait and fish and they were biting other artificials, but they only wanted sand eels and sand eel type lures.
