I was able to catch a quick tide with my brother in law earlier this evening. Loaded up the boat and reached a spot to see many boats running around. Ugh. Ok, let’s try over here. Couple drifts, couple bumps but no commitment. Shifted a bit and got our offerings where they needed to be. Game on. Problem was the watchers swarming like yellow jackets to a picnic. Still managed 3 bluefish and 5 bass with 2 slots for the box. The other 3 bass were over slot to 34 inches. Waiting for bad weather and cold temps to lessen the herd, lol 😂.

The biggest thing I don't miss, fishing in an armada; fishing here is a solo, clandestine event...

A couple of beauties there, Kevin!
Going back to your original post you mentioned "waiting for the bad weather to thin the herd"! I too have often said that while I'm no fan of fishing in bad conditions, at least it keeps the amateurs tied to the dock!!😉
