Headed out with Frank P the morning, knowing today would be an ocean day. Definitely a little bit of a ride from Lindenhurst, got to the first drop about 7.30 and had instant action. Some undersized sea bass and nice fat fluke just not legal size. Made a move to another drop of 65 ft water with the same results. Ran another 4.5 miles out to 85 ft water at this point we’re about 7 miles out of Jones inlet. Again a steady pick of fish just nothing legal, finally I hit a nice 22” fish. Was getting late and had a bit of a ride home. We definitely boated well over 30 fish each all between 15” to 19” and maybe 20/25 undersized sea bass and some of them were in the 15” mark. Great day and definitely no shortage of action today.
