Looks like we might not get to last years August 12th. early closure. We are already at 1mt of the 2.3mt allotted. The inshore bite has not heated up yet either. Further offshore is on fire with one guy I know had 71 BFT one day and 51 the next, plus a BET, keeping his 3 fish BFT limit each day.

The irony here is we still have the large fish, but I don’t have the equipment nor the energy to bother. I’d just love to hunt some small fish, but there are none to be had…

From ensure to roughly 30 miles out, the water was really green not like the blue water we saw last week
