Woke up at first light & against my better judgement decided to go fishing on a holiday weekend. Got to the boat launch about 6AM & only one other truck & trailer, that’s a good sign, started to rain, that’s a bad sign. Put the rubber suit on & headed to Plum Gut, not very many boats. Ended the morning with 3 bass over slot & 2 under, a good morning, & a lot easier clean up with no fish to prepare for the table.Thought about I’m a little north of 76yrs old, retired, so I can fish any day I want so what the hell am I doing fishing in the rain & then fog.

I still take a beating every once in a while, and I too can choose when to fish, on most occasions.
Glad you had a good day, John, regardless of the weather.
