Got out about 7.30 with Frank Sr the morning, was a little pea soup out there but was doable. Went to where we were Tuesday and found a lot of boats. Only thing missing was the birds and the bait. Started our drift and a few bites here and there, then we started picking fish. Wasn’t that insane bite we had Tuesday but steady fish coming over the rail. There were definitely a lot more sea robins around today. Called it a day around 1 o’clock. Highlight of the day was frank sr hooking into a bass on his light fluke rig that fish took him for a ride quick release on a 25” inch fish. Second highlight was the boat next to us hooking a huge sea turtle not sure how he even managed to get up to the surface they took some photos got him untangled and released. He was a dinosaur with a lot of barnacles on him. I also kept the gaff next to me as I probably gaffed 10 helium balloons today 🤷‍♂️. At days end probably 50 shorts today no keepers 20 sea robins 1 skate and 1 bass was a great day with my fishing buddy. There is a good body of fish east of us with a lot of keepers in the mix hopefully they move west soon.

They say it's the best Fluke bite there in the last 20 years.
