Arrived as early as I could & the tide was already moving, thought it would have been stronger with the full moon, but not so bad. The bass were in attendance & did not disappoint. First three drifts, three bass. I was only able to stay for about 1/2 of the tide, & a steady pick ended the morning with 8 bass. Most bass were shorts with only one over the slot & a 30 incher made it in the box for dinner. Whenever I'm done fishing in Plum Gut, between the boat traffic, the rip, & attention that must be paid to the bottom, I leave exhausted.
