Light winds & the right tide, last minute decided to make the run from Greenport to Montauk. Perfect day to see that magnificent lighthouse again in all it's glory with a new paint job, & the fishing didn't disappoint. Ended the tide with 5 bass all well over the slot & a few of the longest, skinniest bluefish I have ever seen. Took a slow ride back to Greenport just enjoying the day.

What a great day, John. Catching some serious Bass in front of one of my favorite icons, the Montauk Light. I will be seeing it again next month when the Fluke bite takes hold.
