I was finally able to get out with my Brother on his Kayak! Fished Bayville around Stelhi's Beach and Oak Point from 7:30 till 11:00 yesterday. Water temp 64-65 fishing depth 6-28 feet.

Most fish caught in shallow, where the water was 65. I caught 5 fluke, all shorts, except the last one which was close at 18in. Hit the jerk shad hard, thought for sure it was a monster - Oh Well!

We also managed 1 porgy and 2 large se robins. All in all it was a great day and good to be out on the water,

The odd thing about today, was how most of the fluke were hooked. Don;t think they were eating the jerk shad, as much as flopping on it, because 4 of my 5 fish were hooked on the outside of the mouth and not in the mouth
