Tale of 2 Trips

Started out early this morning with my son hoping to capitalize on the fantastic bass fishing of the past few days. Well, it was fishing today, not catching. My son managed one bass, I dropped one and we had had a bunch of blues in the inlet. The bunker were there, just no bass. But, there were some very big and pretty boats drifting with balloons holding bunker and blues in position. From the chatter at the marina some very large bluefins were mixed in the bunker pods late last week in 25 feet of water and these boats were hoping for a shot at them. One boat caught my eye, a beautiful Westmac that was one of the largest I have seen.

Shall see what the week brings for weeknight sorties.
