The Freeport Tuna Club out of Freeport, Long Island teamed up with the Venice Fishing Club and chartered the 75’ American Hunter out of Marco Island.
The fishing was fantastic!! Additionally, new friends were made, plenty of laughs, food, and spirits filled the 3 days!!
I had a nice Cobia which put me in 1st place for the pool only to be bested minutes later by my brother Mark with a larger Cobia!!!

Is that boat the old Sea Trek out of Ft.Myers?I don’t know. The crew was talking about selling the 75’ American Hunter and buying a 100’ boat to replace her. They thought they could do more with the larger vessel. I don’t recall if they had a specific boat in mind.
I used to fish with the Sea Trek out of Ft. Myers. 3 day Tortuga trips. 13max. Air conditioned bunk room. Live bait. Great operation.Close, but no cigar………
American Hunter sounds similar. Looks like you had a fun trip!
