Got out early this morning in the Peconic, & found a rip that showed a good amount of fish on the screen. Drifted through with different size jigs, with no takers, same results with a bucktail. Last resort, tried the flutter spoon, first drift, a bass a little short of the slot. Ended the morning with four bass, all on the flutter spoon, with one fat 30" fish headed for the table.

I refused to spend the money on one, a friend loaned me one now I guess I have to pony up for a few.
