Headed out after work with Frank P and Frank Sr. Headed to where we had fish Tuesday. Got the rods in at 4.00 o’clock 10 minutes in and fish on nice fish just shy of 30”. Set the rods back up and for the next two and half hours not a touch, past another boat who also landed a keeper in the same area. We passed each other again and same results nothing, tide was right marking fish not as many marks as Tuesday. Next trip out will be Monday

However, I am supposed to splash tomorrow morning. Better days are on the horizon!!!

Funny. Made 3 trips within the last 10days with a friend in Jbay. First was good with 8 keepers. All released. Second was stupid with over 20fish released 27-36". All sorts of life around us. They bit anything.
Yesterday, 1 fish.
All on bunker except the second day we stopped using bait and started bouncing diamond jigs and caught a few.
Typical early spring fishing. They're on the move, chasing bait, spawning or whatever else it is that they do. They certainly didn't want to eat yesterday!
