Moved around earlier today for a very slow outing. Caught off guard by a fish that "why was he there". Anyway lost concentration and a fish grabbed my jig and made a fool of me. The upsetting part was rod fully bent and drag peeling as the fish ran right to left and away. Damn! Pay attention as bites can be far and few in between. Fish gods punished me for the miss, but finally rewarded me with the mushiest bite you could imagine on a tiny jig. Set the hook and fought a feisty bass to my hand. That was it, so called it a day. May stop out later, but who am I kidding. It's cold out there!
