Fear not, Daiwa's hot rod shop "SLP" to the rescue! Just don't ask what this will cost! ๐Ÿ™„

The link works, I'm not sure why it says it doesn't.

In a world where people can't find enough non-value added ways to spend money and pay to have engine cowls match/accentuate hull colors, why not?

It's common knowledge that fluke are far more likely to bite a jig that's tied to line spooled on a reel that is color coordinated with the rod wraps...

I'm glad you pointed this out. It is an objectively true statement. ๐Ÿ™„

I have several blue Avet SX reels that match very well with some of my custom rod blue wraps on my Fluke outfits.

And the Fluke just love it!!! Especially when matched with color coordinated Gulp.

Have you discovered the "Baby Blue" Power Pro Super Slick line yet? Perfect match for your outfits.

Geez, I did forget, gotta go with matching-color baits as well. These Blue Fuze Gulps are the bomb. Even more so when fished on a blue-themed outfit.

My grandson intro'ed me to Swedish Fish, but I'll be damned if I'd commission a rod like that.

Now maybe Almond Joy or Mounds Bar, but NOT Swedish Fish. Never!

From what I understand, with all the custom grip and thread work that rod cost upwards of $1000.

I will stick with the rods I build with a little simple wrap @ the fore grip built with the intension of catching more fish.
