Halloween morn. Little bitty waves on my open, sandy town beach. Lightish breeze over my left shoulder allowed great practice casting with a buck, a mag darter, rubber shad etc. Water clean, no sweep, no weed at all. Also no bird action and no cetacean sightings. No fish were harmed during the course of the morning. Still after a 15 day cruise and oral surgery it was nice to be back on an almost totally solitary beach. Waved hi to one guy, saw two others in the distance. Just the way I like it.

I did see a lot of larger boats maybe a 1/2 mile out from the JB water tower Tuesday. One was a party boat. After it went by heading east I actually noticed some waves (wake) hit the shore 5 minutes later. That is how calm the ocean was.
