So probably one of the.cheapest plugs you can buy (7 bucks on Amazon) and casts like a potato chip. But man oh man can they be deadly.

What to do when those fish are tight to thr shoreline popping on spearing or what not? My go to has been the red fin. Fish absolutely explode on them like they hate them. They can be loaded for extra distance, but I prefer them unmodified. They excel in moving water and many times I'll just let them swing with the current, doing nothing but just keeping contact with the plug or reeling just fast enough to feel the heavy wobble. These are surface minnow type plugs. You can fish them in mere inches of water.

One thing about these plugs is fish do tend to miss them A LOT. They are so light many times fish will just push them out of the way when they go to strike them. But there's nothing more exciting then having topwater blowups in the dead quiet of night. All in all a great plug for any time of year. Ive even thrown them at the inlet and had fish.Screenshot_20230717_102941_Facebook.webp
