Good fluking in Jones Inlet

Went out Saturday 7/8, fished Jones Inlet/ East Side of Meadowbrook. Incoming tide, light SE wind. Fished the inlet from 9AM -1PM and finally the fluke were biting . Drifted the East side of the Inlet and plenty of action. Multiple fluke during a lot of the drifts. 1 keeper I released , all others were shorts. High low fluke rig with a teaser /squid and spearing. Tried using frozen sardines that I bought at Lidl for $2.99 ( 1 pound bag) but the Fluke bit them in half. Tried the East Side of the Meadowbrook, incoming, didn't look too good so I went back to Wantagh Park and took the boat out. Bay and Inlet were super crowded with boats , first time I went out with my new boat on Saturday, I prefer it during the week. It figures during one of the busiest days of the year the fish were biting.
