Headed out with Frank Sr the morning plan was fish the last of the out going for some bass marked fish in a few areas and was using the parachute method on wire line that is a work out in itself raking that jig, every time we marked fish and thought it was gonna happen it didn’t, we finally had a hook up and after a short battle the fish spit the hook kept at it for awhile till the tide fell off. The only boats I saw catching fish were guys anchored using chunks, silly me never thought to get bunkers the morning I only grabbed stuff to try for Sea bass. Made our way to the first drop we wanted to make and it was a porgy fest, so we moved on the second drop we had some sea bass but couldn’t get that 16 1/2 “ fish had them in the 15 and change mark and more porgy’s and sea robins mixed in now made one more drop and was all porgy’s again, oh well was better then a day at work, those seas bass are beautiful creatures with there colors. Maybe next outing will find some bigger sea bass
