Had some time today so poked around a few ponds looking for trout. Wind in the face but let’s give it a shot. Found a mix of rainbow and browns and they were hungry. Not any of the 2 year olds but still fun. Browns tugging and tugging. Rainbows going in the air. Mepps 0 spinner, copper blade. Good old tiny cast master. And a real small swimmer. 15+ for the session.

Agree, but years ago caught some 16-18 inch browns in the brine and they were very good. Meat inside was pink, not the white stockie color.
