Damn, 8”. Never got to shoot it. Spent a lot of time on the M109a6 and a little on the 119 & 198. Went to HSC 204th Engr Bn Cbt Hvy after active duty with the Natl. Guard. Miss those days.

After being redesignated as direct support, we went to the M102 and then had to give those away to a startup in CA and went to M101s !!! Some of the serial numbers indicated Korean War ! The 8inSPs were a maintenance nightmare for a reserve unit.
do you ever fish the saltwater ?
