In the market for a new net. I have a older cheaper “Genesis” net I think the specs are
  • Bag depth: 30 in.
  • Hoop size: 19 in. x 21 in.
  • Removable handle length: 31 in.
  • It has the coated mesh netting.
Looking for something alittle larger . It’s for fluke, striped bass.
Any suggestions or model sizes? Frabill?

I bought one of mine from Trophy Tackle in Oakdale. Bought another last season from J&H Tackle in Oakdale, who had the largest selection on hand by a mile when I was looking.

I bought both of mine from J&H Tackle in Oakdale. They had the best selection on hand, by a mile.
Lep - How do the rubber coated, or even full rubber nets do with large striper plugs w/2 sets of trebles compared to the standard nylon?

Always looking to make quick work of unhooking fish that are being released...

I dunno because I no longer plug bass. What I do know is that uncoated nets are terrible at catching all sorts of hooks. I would have to assume a properly coated net would be the best choice in just about any type of fish-landing situation, especially vs a plain old-school nylon or plastic thread net. .
