Got lucky to find a replacement motor for my ride. Quick trip to VB to pick it up, spent a few days last week removing and installing and Sat was sea trial day. Broke inlet @7:30 with my son and daughter onboard. Stopped inclose and drowned some crabs for shorts well as a keeper tog and cbass. Took a ride to the middle at 11b and joined the fleet. Tried a couple of depth but couldn’t get them to commit around slack tide, so went back inclose and managed a couple more keepers and made some new memories with thr kids. Called it a day before noon and on the ride in, put her on the pins to see…5500 rpm’s for both motors and 44 mph wide open….more than fast enough…happy to save most of the fall season.

Hey Drew, glad that motor worked out, now you have plenty of spare parts.
Nothing better than fishing with family, I ran mine wide open from Penfield light to Milford point Saturday, best I could get was 5200 rpms at 35 mph, never skipped a beat, love it when they run good lol.
Stay healthy and safe,
Jay
