Anybody know if the inlet is usable during dredging? I’m well aware of the dangers of this inlet having experienced the breakers in the channel , but just curious

On Sunday you needed to hug the east side (coast guard Station side) until you pass the large tug then head west toward Point Lookout and follow the channel. Watch out for the red balls they were everywhere that's where the hoses are attached. I would not try at night time at all.

Dredging doesn't seem like a long term solution. That inlet needs to be reconfigured, possibly extending the jetty south and west to protect against easterly winds.
