Headed out of Mattituk yesterday morning for the 1st Tog trip of the year.Fishing was awesome non stop action with Tog and seabass. We lost track of how many keepers we caught. We were catching them in 50ft on the rocks and we caught them right off the beach in the boulders didn't seem to make a difference. Last drop of the day my friend hooked a Blackfish of a lifetime A true BOULDER DONKY!!12.4lbs on the digital scale. The battle was epic on light tackle but after a bunch of runs back down to the bottom the Beuty was in the net.It took awhile of swimming him in the water but the big boy lived to fight another day...

Nice....surprised it took that long for the big boy to kick.

We've all seen tog flopping on the table hours after being put in the bucket.

Congrats on a great day of catching!

I always find it rewarding releasing big tog and that was great! It was an excellent example of the effort it takes to revive a fish before releasing! Congrats and thanks for sharing.
