Imagine going into First District Court with all the drug dealers, prostitutes, murderers, drunk drivers and the like and you're there for illegal fishing.

They have been checking at many locations recently.
Make sure you follow the rules.
It seems many people aren't.

Saw DEC out this weekend checking boats off Rye. They’re were plenty of 15” fatties this weekend. I’m sure the temptation got some guys. We don’t play that game on our boat. They all go back.

We were checked Friday evening about 10:30 PM.
No fish on board. Officer was polite and professional.

Good to see them checking all the boats and fisherman.
