I have a suggestion for that broom stick ?I assume you mean playing stickball with it? ๐๐๐๐ Do kids even play stickball anymore?
My Grandmother had a great Italian saying regarding Hubris, starting off with something along the lines of "Nu sprungeel..." When translated it meant, "Don't spit up into the sky because it will come back and hit you in the face!"

You have brought back some great childhood memories for me, Roccus. playing stickball in the streets of Queens. If I remember correctly, a ball hit halfway between two sewer caps was a double, one over the farthest sewer cap was a home run!! During those days I had a pretty wicked curve ball throwing that Pensey Pinkie!!! Anyone else remember those?
