Was going to kayak fish this morning but 52° !! No effing way. Who turned off the heat while I was in southern Europe ??
I have the gear to make kayak fishing in that do-able, but no desire, so will turn to the beach, specifically SE Nassau beaches.
Just remember, stinkboat fish don't count !
No more kayaking- on to the beach.

Was going to kayak fish this morning but 52° !! No effing way. Who turned off the heat while I was in southern Europe ??I was out there the other day on Wednesday and fished the East side of the Meadowbrook and caught many small fluke. Fluke are still in the bay, but many are really small. 3/4's of the fish were like 8 -10 inch's, only 1 fish I caught was a keeper that I released. It's good you didn't go out in the Kayak because it was blowing very hard from the SW . Many boats stayed on the east side to get out of the wind, it was very crowded with all the boats drifting back and forth.

All in all the fluking in 2022 was really good in the Jones Inlet area, especially on the East side of the Meadowbrook this summer . I don't fish the West side of the Bridge because of all the snags.
