New Ground Sea Bass

Got out early this morning, & found the north side of Plim Island flat for a change, decided to motor around & look for new ground. First drop had lots of life, but all shorts, not even last years keepers. Next drop was again lots of shorts, but a few quality fish came up, time to search deeper. Looking deeper was the right move, & found enough quality fish to make a limit. Next move was to the Gut for the flood, looking to put a striper in the box. Two hours in & no life, then three drifts, three bluefish, returned. After another hour with no life I had enough, time to head for the barn. Happy with a limit of sea bass, & some new numbers in the machine...........John
