Ran down the beach to Sea Bright yesterday looking for albies, bonito and/or Spanish macks. Ended up jigging some small blues but dolphins moved in every time we got under working birds. They ended action each time.
Best part of the day was the Humpback whale show. We watched them for @ 45 min trying to get some pics. See below:IMG_2995.jpgIMG_3003.jpgIMG_3005.jpgIMG_3004.jpg

It still amazes me that they're so close to the beach.

As I stated before, we were with them for @ 45 min and the water was never deeper than about 30 feet. Approximately 150+/- yards off a short jetty. There were 2 for sure. One looked full grown and the other was about half that size. Slurping up bunker the whole time.
I read 10-12 feet of bait on my FF most of the time as well. They were so thick some of the time that the machine read 15 feet in 30 feet of water.
We're going to go searching for some spanish, albies & bones on Thursday.
