FINALLY !!!

Late start (8:00am) with Nehews on Monday. Ran S of VZ expecting to run around a lot. Nice surprise to find cocktail blues under birds with nobody else around. Small jigs were the ticket at first but we switched to small poppers. Using a new Patchinko lure from "A Band of Anglers", we couldn't keep the fish off this lure. It had perfect action - practically walking the dog by itself. I removed front treble and crushed barbs on rear treble. Crazy action in flat calm conditions. Had to be back by 1:00 pm so we quit after a few hours with 40+ releases. Never got to try for fluke because the boys we having too much fun. Next trip when we have more time.....
