Finally !

I have been quite remiss about posting reports this month as I have had virtually nothing to show for it. I still don't miss the stinkboat (and won't, especially after seeing a 35' cruiser ANCHOR to fish in a backbay channel this morning, LOL) and between paddling and swimming the belt is a notch shorter, but as for fish, I have been skunked more times than not in my backbay area. So on the busiest boating day I have observed so far this year, I tallied 4 or 5 shorts and one 19" dinner for three. Used a drift sock until the start of the outgoing when it was wind against current. Was beginning to lose faith in Gulp (I haven't bought bait since 2005) but for an hour long period just before the start of the outgoing, it worked. Sea lettuce and mermaid hair has been troublesome backbay, but its been lessening the last couple of days. No pics, you all know what they look like.
