Saltwater then freshwater

Due to this morning’s rain and windy conditions I had off from work today. So I loaded up a couple rods and tackle bags.
Stopped off and picked up a pint of clams and tried fishing the bay side of Moriches inlet. Wind was so strong all I could manage was a salad on every cast.
So heading home I fished two ponds along Montauk Highway.
First stop four bass, each spitting the tiny hook just as I went to lip them.
Next pond 3 hits one catch and release. It got too hot fishing in jeans so I headed home.650F87F7-1857-4040-B0E3-62277704CC81.webp57CAA120-2579-4510-A405-16E76A7AB1F4.webp
