7:00 this morning at fort Tilden, flat calm.. didn’t expect much at least the sharks are moving on, robins starting to come in… ran over to Beeezy Point with incoming.. , still slow but had a strong run off wit clam, while this other surf man 50 yards away was into a good fish on a smaller outfit.. he was actually fishing small hooks for robins….That's a short nose sturgeon...
he comes up a 34” bass, wit a 4oz. pyramid dangling from its mouth.. his small hook actually grab the line tied to the lead,,, this fish had to be carrying that lead for awhile, it was worn down… WoW…
found a sturgeon too, park ranger appreciated the tip…
meanwhile, the amount of plastic and junk washed up around breezy point is disgraceful… our local officials are pathetic… cellfish…

Eeeewh, u ate that bass…Nothing wrong with it, just had a grove in him, which was totally scaled and the skin was intact and "normal", there were no lesions or anything.
anyway, I may not catch many fish, but I do have interesting outings… cellfish…
