Back Bay

Took an hour before work to try my local back bay area. Last year I got my first bass the 3rd week of April in the same spot. Water temp around 49 degrees

I employed small shads and a 1 oz super strike around sod banks and flats, for about 45 minutes without a hit. I tried to cover as much area as possible.
Did see a couple herons ambling around the water's edge, so the bait must still be filtering in.

It was a beautiful morning, it should only improve in the coming weeks.
