dock of the bay

hi guys ,, dock of the bay,, over the years we always went to this dock overlooking the water,,maureen loves just to sit there for hours on the bench,,,, we never knew the depth of the water off the dock,, we never fished there,, but today we had the rods in the car,, so i said to maureen lets see how deep it is off the dock,,,,hahaha it must be be the flats ,, down straight off the dock,, like 2 feet ? ,, we didnt have any live bait so we threw artificials like worms and grubs,, casting out still low water even at high tide,,also alot of lettuce there,, all we saw were flying fish jumping all over,, we did have a couple of bumps and bite offs the end of the worms,,, but nothing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, maureen and i just had a nice time in the sun on the dock,,,,,weather was great with a breeze,,,not a cloud in the sky,,,,,,,as we get out of the lakes of melboune and drive around, we will find other fishing spots out here,,,we are taking a trip back to staten island may 14th,, when we get back to fla soon after we will get a fresh water license in the comming months there after,, and hope to fish other lakes down here,,, all stay well,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ><))):>
