So my younger son Charles and his bride got invited to celebrate his father in-law's 94th birthday.
Wynn, his father in law a well known surgeon for the US military paid for Charles and his wife Wendy to fly to the DR and help celebrate.
I wasn't to happy that they were going to the Dominican Republic, a lot of crap going on over there, my son said it was beautiful at the resort but traveling around was scary.
Anyway's he chartered a fishing trip today and they did some ground fishing and trolling, nothing on the trolling but did ok with the ground fish.
They were on a 42 foot Sea Ray didn't know Sea Ray made fishing boats.
They hand line for ground fish, learn something new everyday.
I will be happy when they are home this coming Thursday.
pics of the trip.

When you take a taxi and the driver keeps a loaded handgun on the front seat to protect his customers, I think it’s not a place to visit.

SeaRay had a larger fishing type vessel...the Amberjack....kind of a half pleasure half fishing larger cabin cruiser. Usually the deck was open and no carpet, and a few rod holders.
The also made the Laguna series...which were mostly center consoles. They had tons of storage, large fish boxes and held their own in the slop. I currently have a 1994 24ft Laguna CC.....she is a fishing machine. Would never known it was a SeaRay.

My son and his wife got home yesterday at 6pm much to my relief, from the pics he sent me it looks like a nice place to visit but too bad you are limited as to what you can do, taking chances and risking your life is not a vacation, hell, I can get that right here in the good old US of A lol.
