Fished the lake from 7-12:30 and the river from 1 to 2:30
Landed one nice pike and a bunch of little yellow perch. Pike was on a tip up with a minnow, all perch on waxworms. Temps started at 6 degrees and we finished at 28 degrees. Dressed appropriately nobody was cold. It was a real fun day interrupted by a few fish ?
Can’t wait to try again in the warmer months.

Not that I'm a smelter, BUT the silence this year has been deafening. They had a poor season last year and with a very warm winter this year the camps on the Kennebec may not even be out on the ice...
