So we went anyway even with the forecast they were calling for, just as we entered the woods Saturday the rain came followed with crazy wind, the AM hunt a Doe with her yearling, I have a Doe tag but I won’t shoot with the yearlings are with there mom and especially that some of the yearlings are very small late bloomers I guess, PM hunt early afternoon Doe full speed ahead no stopping her, there was a second one with her that stopped about 25 yards out looking in the other direction from I couldn’t see her head had the gun ready to go when the deer turned it’s head it was a small spike, three point rule where I am so we had a staring contest for a few minutes and off he ran, the morning hunt sat till 11 AM didn’t see anything packed up and headed home till next year.

I might do the Suffolk lottery this year.
Got a lousy middlin' number and of course have no idea what the weather will be when the selected date comes up.
