Closing time

I am done fishing this year. I hope to get out once before striper fishing starts on April 15th. This year was not good for me. I only had one keeper fluke the entire year and that came on the last day of the season. I went fishing on Aug 31 and my next trip after that was Sept 30th. Lost an entire month of fishing because of ida. I did good with sea bass on the days we made it out into the ocean. I did catch my biggest striper in my lifetime this year clam chumming on the fishfinder fish was near or over 40 lbs. had 2 other bass that day that were 30 lbs or better. Best day of striper fishing in my life time. I look forward to next year getting out with my dad and sister even if it’s a slow day of fishing it’s always a great day spending time with my family.
