So I posted that the season 2025 is over, then the legend (AKA) Frank Sr says let’s go fishing. All I can say is at 89 years young he’s a fishing machine. Frank P and I met him at 8 o’clock light breeze and we made our way across the sound. Was lots of life but nothing over 15.5. Around noon we decided to make our way back and try a drop closer to home. The breeze really kicked up and with cool temperatures made it uncomfortable. So we tucked in a spot and again bending rods nonstop but again nothing over 15.75 easily released at least 20/25 fish 15” to 15.75. By this time it’s closing in on 3 o’clock so I had enough and ducked in behind the canvas and sat down to warm up. Frank Sr said are you done I said I had enough, he looks at Frank P and says this is why you don’t fish with married men they always gotta go home. 😂 that guy never sat down once, anyway was great time lots of laughs and plenty of action. Now I can 2025 is a wrap as boat is coming out Tuesday.

I was really disappointed that we could not make any one of our 3 planned dates work this fall but I have a feeling Frank SR. will be ready to go next spring! You might want to consider a Striped Bass/ Weakfish combo with me in early to mid-June.

I was really disappointed that we could not make any one of our 3 planned dates work this fall but I have a feeling Frank SR. will be ready to go next spring! You might want to consider a Striped Bass/ Weakfish combo with me in early to mid-June.
