Yesterday me and my dad went fishing and the striper fishing was terrible. Was a beautiful day on the water and we saw a whale 30 ft away from the boat. Day before the report from 3 boats was the same. Not good at all. Won’t be fishing tomorrow thru Sunday hope to get out once next week. My dad is not a fan of the cold weather so this may be the last trip for him. Enjoyed fishing with my dad yesterday. Stripers end dec 15th hoping to get out 2 or 3 times before then. Might go sea bass fishing before the end of the year. During the winter months Jan thru April I only go out if the weather is perfect. See what happens rest of the year into the new year . Hoping to get out five times between today and April 15th. Tight lines

From the western ss ocean beaches its been pretty stinky all along. Skunked today (although only gave it 90 minutes.) Met a young guy who had two hits (one beached) in 2 1/2 hours.

Its been a pretty terrible fall season for bass out of FI in my experience. I've been having more luck inside the bay and especially at night than the ocean. I'm hoping a better body of fish moves in soon or i'm gonna call it quits on the 2021 season.

I won’t be fishing this week. Windy and rainy most of the week. Hope to get out once or twice before dec 15. Then once or twice between dec 16 and dec 31
