Bay Time

Just a lot going on in our household so the normal fishing pace has been very light. I picked another bay spot much earlier today and was rewarded with 6 cookie cutter bass like the one pictured below. Caught on my favorite black bomber, fished extremely slow for most fish and did entice one on a popper once the sun decided to show itself. Bait was scarce, as these fish were moving in and out of a rip looking for something to eat. I moved around a bit and did not stop casting. I had to grind these fish out! Did "hear" of some bluefish action elsewhere, the details at this point are vague 🙂 . Good luck and hopefully catch them up.
