Hangover cure!

So yesterday I got on board my buddy’s boat to give it a shot targeting the inshore bluefin tuna. We struck out but saw at least 6 boats hooked up. Amazing sight so close to shore! So I had to get the skunk off, and got up this morning and targeted the back bay bass! Well it didn’t take long using SP Minnow plugs, i had bass after bass! Also a couple gator bluefish. At one point I had a strike that seemed different, the fight wasn’t the same, then up comes a beautiful fluke! Amazing how they swim up and attack the topwater plugs! Also had a sea bass that was smaller than the plug itself! Lol. Well, we didn’t get the BFT yesterday but today made me feel a little better! Catch ‘em up!

@WhaleheadFishing Those bluefin have been there quite a while. I know they've come inshore before but never like this! That bass looks pretty healthy!

I agree with much of this. But something can be said for the adrenaline that flows when you're hooked into a 150 pound plus bluefin. I can't fight them as well as I could in my younger days, but I'm great with the tail-rope 🙂 and even better taking video.

Its more of a bucket list thing form me! Gotta try while they are this close! I think catching a double digit fluke is just as hard!! lol
