I do. And we’ll give it a good try Thursday.
The pinhookers used to tell me that after a major storm it takes 4-5 tidal turnovers for the fishing to get back to normal. I have found that to be a pretty good rule of thumb. But of course, its totally up to the fish, right? Thoughts?
Who believes the fluke fishing will rebound after Henri?

Not specifically Fluke related but Capt. Dan (Orient Star) told me the Porgy fishing off Gardiners was very slow today. Even the Scup bite can be adversely affected by a big storm.
I sure hope things get back to normal on the Fluke front by Thursday...I am expecting big things from Capt. Lep!!🙂

Wondering the same about the back bay. Have a contractor here all week and won't get out on the yak until the weekend, and the forecast looks at this point to be way too windy to both paddle and fish. Really hoping to continue to liveline a snapper or two for another weak or two !

Storm was early enough in August that it will rebound,East end got affected more.TIME FRAME OF 3 TO 4 DAYS ISN'T ENOUGH to clear the water and settle down.May take a full 7 days or until September 1st but there will be a bight again.Thats my .02 cents.

Well, were our results good enough there, Capt. Mike?
Whew, talk about getting the pressure off my ummm, "back" . . . LOL!
I though it was our best trip of the season (so far)!
